The plane landed in the grey city with a bit of a bump, then came to an unceremonious halt. The flight was the usual fare, although it amazes me that Canadian flights now require you to buy their poorly made franchise bought food on board. Such a shame that gone are the days of Western Bento box meals where you could chose between steamed fish or grilled chicken – all of which taste the same in pre made splendor. ps: I love plane food.

I watched as the concrete spectors pass me by in the car glass, and could not help but to crave a spot of sunshine, burst of color or even a moment of warm weather noise. I do miss it, but i know there are projects to finish and stories to resolve here in Toronto.

The journey was amazing, and I feel the progress in my mind, my attitude and outlook. This is a time of transition but movement so what can we do but press on? In recent days, so many opposites and contrasts have been on my mind: love and biz, freedom or order, commercial or artistic purity…on and on it goes. Decisions have to be made, and so often people stagnate when they do not simply choose.

I will tell this story backwards. For now, i’m still jet lagged, a touch alienated, and ready to do some spring cleaning for the sake of personal organization. One way or another we all gonna make it.
